Oh man, I am freakin' hilarious].), but that's because, if you look to your right (no, that's left, you moron - I said right!), you'll notice that I have been doing quite a bit of blog updates; changing HTML, working on some graphics, things like that. Ahem... anyways, as you may or may not know, there is speculation on the DBZ (Dragon Ball Z) Live Action movie. Yes, there are people willing to attempt making a whole bunch of American actors look like animated Japanese macho men with golden, spiky (I don't mean "loosely spiky", I mean like "impale yourself, bayonet on the front of a rifle spiky") hair. However, not 3 days ago, I got word from a major contact of mine (okay, maybe more of a good friend {alright, perhaps more of a nice buddy [okay - you got me! It's just an aquaintance]}). Now, this "contact", per se, is actually the video editor for the FUNimation company. Yes, that's what I said. He lives in California and was in Ohio for business of sorts. That's besides the point. The point is, he's deep inside the FUNimation lines, and apparently, he says that there IS going to be a DBZ Live Action Movie. I cannot give you any other credentials, nor do I feel it necessary to explain in further detail who this person is - however, I can lead you to his WEBSITE. The details in his website explaining the DBZ Live Action movie are as such:

ATTENTION DBZ FANS:
The DBZ Live Action movie's production is now CONFIRMED,
despite previous reports of it being cancelled.

Screenwriter Ben Ramsey ("The Big Hit") has signed to adapt Dragonball Z for the big screen for 20th Century Fox, reports Variety. Dragonball Z was adapted from the "Dragonball" manga created by Akira Toriyama and later developed into a Japanese anime series.

"Dragonball Z" follows the adventures of an adult humanoid alien who's just discovered that he was sent to Earth to blend in and destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming alien onslaught.

Ramsey recently wrote the adaptation of Marvel's Luke Cage at Sony's Columbia Pictures, as well as Static for Columbia-based producer Neal Moritz.

Source: Variety

The Movie was set to come out in the summer of 2004. But apparently, due to some casting problems, it may com out in early 2005.

The title would most obviously be "DragonballZ", but FOX is leaning toward "DragonballZ: Unlimited, or "Dragonball Z: Fight for Mankind".

Some actors have signed contracts and some have simply said they would do it. Some characters have not been cast yet but those who have are subject to change. Remember, anything can happen between now and filming. Other actors have been cast but they are all unknowns and I don’t know who they will play.

Goku: Hugh Jackman was recently fired from this part due to him holding up production. He's the reason why the movie won't come out until 2005, so Roland Emmerich fired Hugh Jackman, and now who will fill his shoes is a big question.

Vegeta: Ray Park (Sleepy Hallow, Star Wars: Episode 1, X-Men). Ray was their first choice, but then they gave it to Guy Pearce. Then they gave it back to Ray Park.

Piccolo: Sam Wheeler (Unknown), this is a new actor. Apparently he's a big 6'7 black guy with a deep voice.

Raditz: Jason Bateman (Teen Wolf Too, Necessary Roughness, The Sweetest Thing). This guy has mostly been around T.V Shows.

Nappa: Bill Goldberg (Universal Soldier: The Return, WWE Wrestling) This is deffinatly [they spelled definetly wrong, hehe...] a good choice for Nappa, cause he looks exactly like him.

Tien: Orlando Bloom (Black Hawk Down, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean). In my opinion, he might be a good choice for Tien; it will be interesting to see Orlando with three eyes.

Bulma: Jessica Alba (P.U.N.K.S, Idle Hands, Dark Angel). And yes she will have blue hair.

Chi-Chi: Eliza Dushku (The New Guy, City By The Sea, Wrong Turn).

Puarr, Oolong, King Kai: These guys will be CGI, and don't worry, Puarr Oolong will only have small cameos. The voice actors from the show will do the voices for these characters on the movie.

FOX is shooting for a PG-13 rating and a running time of somewhere between 3 to 4 hours. They are hoping for the DBZ movie saga to be 4 episodes long (4 movies). They will most likely be The Saiyan Saga, The Frieza Saga, The Android Cell Saga, and the Majin Buu Saga. George Lucas' CGI Company ILM has signed a contract to do the special effects so expect some kick ass action scenes and imagery.

And so there you have it, according to a few reliable sources. Now, because some people may be gullible, know this: the movie still may not come out (for whatever reason), the actor roles may change, or DBZ could die out in fiendish, blue flames. So... you just never know. But, also know this: I will keep my ears open for more news on this!

{Disclaimer: Any and all copyrighted terms used here, though not imposed, are known and acknowledged. Gmail! From the creators of Google, this online e-mail program allows you to check your mail, and never worry about deleting your old trash. I quote:

A Google approach to email.

Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want. The key features are:

Search, don't sort. Use Google search to find the exact message you want, no
matter when it was sent or received.

Don't throw anything away. 2167.946516 megabytes (and counting [literally]) of free
storage so you'll never need to delete another message.

Keep it all in context. Each message is grouped with all its replies and
displayed as a conversation.

No pop-up ads.

No untargeted banners. You see only relevant text ads and links to related
web pages of interest.

So, here's the thing: Gmail is no longer open to the general public. You can't simply go there and except to get the service. Someone with the Gmail service would have to invite you... now, I'm trying to think of someone who has that {me}, but nothing's really {me} coming to me... but perhaps if you guys e-mailed someone {me}, that person could invite you, so you could get the service.

Welcome!

Hey everyone, welcome to my site... er', blogger, thing!
